The University of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Queensland has again ranked among the world’s top universities, placing 278th in the and 20th among Australian and New Zealand universities.

Published by US News and World Report this month, the rankings draw on Clarivate data to assess research reputation and academic performance across more than 2000 institutions worldwide.

The result underscores UniSQ’s continued research excellence and growing global standing, with strong rankings across several disciplines, including materials science, engineering, and space science.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Karen Nelson said the result reflects the University’s strong momentum and ongoing commitment to delivering world-class research and real-world impact.

“To be recognised among the world’s top universities is a powerful endorsement of the dedication, creativity, and excellence of our staff and research,” Professor Nelson said.

The announcement follows UniSQ’s strong showing in the recently released QS World University Rankings 2026.
