MacIntyre Wind Farm Scholarship

In 2026, UniSQ will offer three MacIntyre Wind Farm Scholarships to support students commencing their studies in a bachelor's degree program.

Established in 2020 and funded by an endowed gift from , this scholarship will provide ongoing support for students from around the Darling Downs.

Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $4000 to be paid in one instalment.

Applicants must:

  • be a currently residing in Australia
  • be a resident of, or have relocated to study from, one of the following Local Government Areas:
    • 天美传媒app Downs Regional Council
    • Goondiwindi Regional Council
    • Toowoomba Regional Council
  • be a
  • be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree program in Trimester 1 2026
  • have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • describe the experiences or influences which have driven your passion for your chosen field of study
    • describe your career goals within your chosen field, and the impact that you hope to make as a professional
  • provide evidence to show you have a permanent residential address in, or have relocated to study from, one of the following Local Government Areas (refer ):

    • Goondiwindi Regional Council
    • Toowoomba Regional Council
  •  provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results)
  • provide evidence of your current financial circumstances.

*Extra consideration will be given to applicants who are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person of Australia.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
